Which civics test should I take?
It depends on when you filed your application.
- Take the 100-Question (2008 version) if you filed before October 20, 2025. In the interview, the USCIS officer asks up to 10 civics questions and you must answer 6 correctly to pass.
- Take the 128-Question (2025 version) if you filed on or after October 20, 2025. In the interview, the USCIS officer asks up to 20 civics questions and you must answer 12 correctly to pass.
