Liontude, LLC (“Liontude”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information across all products and services operated by Liontude.

We strive to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), and we aim to process your data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services operated by Liontude, LLC (collectively, the “Services”), including:

  • Our mobile applications (for example, Citizen Now and other citizenship-preparation apps for the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Spain).
  • Our websites.
  • Our YouTube channel and our social media accounts (such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
  • Any pages within our apps or websites where we list Amazon affiliate products.

Some parts of this Privacy Policy apply only to our mobile apps, some only to our websites, and some to all Services. Where relevant, we specify which Services a particular section applies to.

2. Introduction

Liontude develops educational mobile applications and digital content, including Citizen Now and other apps designed to help individuals prepare for citizenship and nationality tests in multiple countries.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information across our apps, websites, and all other platforms we operate.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 App Use (Mobile Applications)

Our citizenship-preparation apps do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to enter personal details such as your name, email address, or postal address in the apps.

However, when you use our apps, certain information may be collected automatically by third-party tools integrated in the apps (such as analytics, advertising, and crash reporting services). This information may include:

  • Device identifiers (for example, device ID, Advertising ID)
  • IP address and general location information (such as country or region)
  • App usage statistics (such as screens viewed and session duration)
  • Technical information about your device and operating system
  • Crash logs and performance data

These types of data may be considered “personal data” or “personal information” under some privacy laws.

3.2 Advertising and Google AdMob (Mobile Apps)

Some of our apps may display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID, IP address, and general location information to deliver, personalize (where permitted), and measure ads.

Depending on your region and your device or Google account settings:

  • Ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
  • In regions requiring consent, only non-personalized ads are shown unless you have given consent.

You may manage ad preferences through your device settings or your Google account settings.

We do not have direct access to the raw Advertising ID, but AdMob processes it on our behalf.

3.3 App Store Purchases (Google Play Store and Apple App Store)

If you make a purchase or subscription through Google Play or the Apple App Store, the payment is processed entirely by the respective store. We receive limited information necessary to support your purchase, such as:

  • An internal transaction or order ID
  • The product purchased
  • The purchase or subscription status

We do not receive your full payment card details.

3.4 Communications and Support

If you contact us (for example, via email or social media), we may collect:

  • Your name and contact information
  • The content of your inquiry
  • Any additional information you choose to provide

We use this information to respond to your requests and provide support.

3.5 Amazon Affiliate Products (Website and Apps)

Our website and some sections of our apps may display or link to products available on Amazon through the Amazon Associates Program.

  • When you click an Amazon product link, you are redirected to Amazon’s website, and Amazon may collect information according to its own privacy practices.
  • Liontude does not receive your Amazon purchase information, browsing history on Amazon, or payment information.
  • Data collected by Amazon is governed solely by Amazon’s Privacy Notice: https://www.amazon.com/privacy

As required by the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement:

“As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.”

We do not sell products directly from our websites or apps; all purchases occur on Amazon.

3.6 Automatically Collected Data (Apps and Websites)

Our websites and apps may use third-party tools such as:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google AdMob
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Sentry

These tools may collect:

  • IP address
  • Device identifiers
  • Browser or device information
  • Usage activity
  • Crash logs and performance metrics

For more information, see Section 11 (Third-Party Services).

Some of our apps include an optional feature that helps you find legal service providers near a chosen location. To use this feature, you can:

  • Allow the app to access your device’s location (GPS), or
  • Enter a location manually (for example, a city, ZIP/postal code, or address).

Providing location information is optional. The app will still work if you choose not to provide it, but the “nearby legal services” feature may not be available or may be less accurate.

We use the location you provide only to show nearby legal services using the Google Places API. We do not create user accounts and we do not link any location data to a personal profile. We do not store your precise location on our own servers.

However, when you use this feature, Google may process location data as part of the Google Maps Platform and Google Places services. Google’s processing of this data is governed by Google’s own privacy policies.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Services
  • Improve the performance and stability of our apps and websites
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Display and measure advertising in our apps (via AdMob)
  • Understand how users interact with our Services

  • Legitimate interests: To maintain and improve our Services, prevent fraud, and understand how our Services are used, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Consent: For certain analytics, advertising, cookies, or location-based features where required by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.

7. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries, which may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country of residence.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide and improve our Services
  • Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
